Cookie Policy
Every cookie and every localStorage entry Eychgras uses, listed in one place.
1. What we mean by "cookies"
We use "cookie" as shorthand for any client-side storage — HTTP cookies, browser localStorage, sessionStorage, or IndexedDB — that we or a processor sets on your device. In practice, Eychgras uses localStorage for cart and preferences and a single HTTP cookie for CSRF protection during checkout. No third-party advertising cookies are ever set on this site.
2. Strictly necessary — always on
These entries are required for the shop to function and are not subject to consent under § 25(2) TTDSG.
- eychgras_cart_v1 — localStorage · persistent · remembers the items in your cart between page loads.
- eychgras_wish_v1 — localStorage · persistent · remembers items you saved to your wishlist.
- eychgras_cookie — localStorage · persistent · records that you accepted or declined the analytics banner, so we do not ask again.
- __Host-csrf — HTTP cookie · session only · protects checkout against cross-site request forgery.
3. Preference
We do not set any preference cookies that need consent.
4. Analytics — off by default
If you accept the banner, we set one first-party analytics identifier so that our aggregated page-view counter does not double-count a single visitor across a session. The identifier is a random hash, not tied to your IP, email, or purchase, and is discarded 24 hours after your last visit.

We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel, or any third-party advertising or retargeting tag.
5. How to withdraw consent
Clear the "eychgras_cookie" entry in your browser's storage inspector, then reload the page. The banner will reappear and you can decline. Alternatively, write to [email protected] and we will set an opt-out flag on our side.
6. Browser tools
Every modern browser lets you inspect and delete cookies. The concrete steps vary — search for "clear site data" plus your browser name — but the outcome is the same everywhere: our cart resets, your wishlist resets, the banner reappears.
